 As seen in San Antonio ourkids magazine, April 2010. The 5th San Antonio Pagan Family Picnic was April 24, 2010. Please visit the events page for more information. The Co-Organizers are: Janéa Danae and Omni Draconis. If you are interested in volunteering or would like to more information about the picnic, send us a message from the contact page. The San Antonio Pagan Family Picnic was founded in 2005 by Janéa Danae with a desire to bring Neo- Pagans in the community together in a family environment. This year's event will be the 5th. (*There was no event in 2008 due to lack of funds.)

The San Antonio Pagan Family Picnic is a family-oriented event. The outline is as follows: - set up
- kid-friendly ritual
- shared potluck meal
- craft
- cleanup
The meal is a potluck, therefore everyone is asked to bring a dish to share. (For consideration of others, please have a list of ingredients available for people with food sensitivities, and/or allergies.) Each family is also asked to bring materials to share for the craft. (Please be advised: ritual and craft require adult supervision and encourage adult participation.) The craft is decided in advance and suggestions are always welcome beforehand. There is no fee to attend, but donations are welcome.

Past crafts include: - 2005- faery wings made out of wire hangers, pantyhose, and glitter (Special thanks to Rev. Tamie Rieth and Jordan)
- 2006- magic boxes personalized with markers and paint (Special thanks to Ravenia)
- 2007- wands decorated with paint, glitter, feathers, ribbon, etc. Some smooth wands were donated by Shadowfire. Special thanks to Omni for heading the craft projects & writing the ritual.
- (*There was no event in 2008 due to lack of funds.)
- 2009- planted seeds in pots. Special thanks to Shadowfire & Mithriel for donating pots and potting soil.
